Travel to the Cruise:
The information below will help you travel to and from the Convention/Cruise. If you would like assistance with flights or hotel arrangements once you have booked the cruise through the CCC Convention group please contact [email protected].
Flights:
For those of you flying to the NYC area for the cruise, the closest airport is Newark (about 20-25 minutes from the cruise port); you can also fly into LaGuardia or JFK but those airports are a bit further away (about 50-60 minutes).
I HIGHLY recommend flying in so that you arrive the day before the cruise – so please plan to fly in no later than June 28th.
Pre-cruise hotel recommendation – Newark Airport:

- Shuttle from the airport available; approx pricing $330/night at this time; a bit less if you are a Bonvoy member
If you are flying into LaGuardia or JFK, or visiting NYC before the cruise, you may not want to travel to Newark Airport for your hotel stay. If you are in this category, please reach out to [email protected] to discuss your options. The closest hotels are in Jersey City, but they are a bit more expensive than the Newark Airport option.
Parking at the Cape Liberty (Bayonne NJ) Cruise Port:
For those of you within driving distance of the cruise port, parking is available for a cost of $30/day for a car. Here is a link to full parking information at the cruise port: http://www.cruiseliberty.com/directions_parking.html
You will find out your precise boarding time when you check in (on or after May 15th), but in the meantime, you should plan to arrive and park at the cruise port between 11:30am – 2pm.
Travel home:
If you are flying out of New York on July 6th, please do not book flights from Newark Airport that leave earlier than noon; if you are flying from LaGuardia or JFK do not book flights that leave earlier than 1pm.
The ship is scheduled to dock at 7am, but disembarkation is a process that can take several hours. It is better to allow more time! If you need a transfer from the cruise to one of the airports, contact [email protected] to discuss your options.
Passports: You MUST have your passport to travel.
Kira has passport information from most travelers. If you have not yet sent your passport information to Kira, do that now. She must have your passport information to complete the travel paperwork with Celebrity and get your final cruise documents.
