Mary Anne and Richard Erickson join Carol and Duane Gumbs as the Executive Quartet

We are thrilled to be stepping into this position of honor for the furthering of the mission and goals of Couples Coaching Couples. In our short time collaborating with Carol and Duane, we are already finding joy and a meeting of the minds that lights us up. CCC has many important priorities ahead this year, and our job will be to help decide which ones are the most significant, and then act with confidence in helping bring those to fruition.

A little bit about us: we met in New York City and were married 42 years ago. Mary Anne was a free-lance graphic artist and Richard was a chef instructor at the French Culinary Institute and then executive chef in several well-known French restaurants. After many years in the city, we decided to move upstate to Woodstock and after a few years, opened our own restaurant, Blue Mountain Bistro. After 15 years of the restaurant biz, we created a new lifestyle for ourselves and opened Bistro-to-Go, a gourmet food store and small cafe.

We joined CCC three years ago and are currently the Source Couples for the Hudson Valley Virtual Circle. We served on the Board the past year and participated on the Communications Committee, primarily working on the Newsletter, and also were part of the sextet which plans the monthly Source Calls on the Community Care and Connection Committee.

Couples Coaching Couples has made a tremendous difference in our relationship. We have great admiration and gratitude for all of those who have worked collaboratively through the past 30 years to bring the organization to the place it is today. This is a sacred trust that we uphold, and look forward to continuing to find inspiration and integrity in expanding its mission as your President Couple.
